Katie is a graduate student in the Department of Biological Science at Florida State University. Her dissertation is examining the recruitment and population genetics of a long-lived rockfish species in Barkley Sound, British Columbia. She has also been working with Randall Hughes to identify the genetic structure of Spartina salt marshes.
