		<description>There are several errors in the text.  The most egregious deals with collection of conchs.  The implication is 1). that members of the family Melongenidae are &quot;conchs&quot; in the same sense as Strombus gigas and 2). that collection of anything the general public regards as a &quot;conch&quot; is therefore prohibited.  As the Queen Conch does not occur this far north the assertion is doubly misleading.  Aside from Manatee and Lee counties shelling prohibitions and the &quot;no-take&quot; areas in federal areas, the rest of the state has few shell collecting prohibitions.
