Bennie Demps v. State of Florida

Demps was convicted and sentenced to death in the stabbing murder of a fellow inmate, Alfred Sturgis, at Florida State Prison. On April 24, 2000, Gov. Jeb Bush signed a death warrant for Demps' execution. This is Demps' challenge to the warrant for his execution.
