The Court considers changes to the Florida Evidence Code as part of a regular three-year review cycle. These proposed amendments are the procedural counterparts to legislative changes made by state lawmakers. The changes deal with lawyer-client privilege, hearsay exceptions and new restrictions on the use of out-of-state experts in medical malpractice cases.
