The Sanislos sued Give Kids the World (GKTW) for negligence after Ms. Sanislo was injured during a trip financed by GKTW. GKTW filed a motion for summary judgment arguing that liability release forms signed by the Sanislos exempted GKTW from liability. The trial court denied that motion. Following a jury verdict, the court entered judgment in favor of the Sanislos. The Fifth DCA reversed, finding that the release forms barred the lawsuit despite the lack of language expressly referring to "negligence." The Sanislos asked this Court to review the case, noting the Fifth DCA's decision conflicts with rulings from all other district courts of appeal in Florida. Osceola County
