Florida Crossroads

Restoring the Grove

Episode #3032 / Length: 28 minutes

Steps away from the Governor's Mansion in Tallahassee is a home that has seen its share of state leaders too. The Grove- first built in 1840 by territorial Governor Richard Keith Call-has served as a private residence, an impromptu Governor's Mansion in the 1950s, and now a museum preserved for visitors and maintained by Florida's Division of Historical Resources. Rebecca Baer takes us on a tour of The Grove.
