Rolling was tried, convicted, and sentenced to death for the murders of Sonia Larson, Christina Powell, Christa Hoyt, Manuel Taboada, and Tracey Paules near the University of Florida campus in August 1990. His sentences were affirmed on appeal. He now challenges their validity.
