Smith was convicted of burglary, robbery with a firearm, and false imprisonment with a weapon in connection with the robbery of tourists who were in Florida to visit Disney World. He received life in prison on the robbery charge and 30-year sentences for the other two charges. The Fifth District reversed the conviction for false imprisonment but affirmed the other two convictions. The State appeals.
