Thibault was charged with the murders of Bryan Harrison, Charlotte Kenyan, and Daniel Ketchum. He pled guilty and waived his right to a penalty phase before a jury. After conducting its own penalty phase, the trial court sentenced him to die. This is his direct appeal.
