Sousa was convicted of two counts of attempted murder with a firearm and one count of aggravated assault with a firearm from an incident at the Naples-Fort Myers greyhound track involving three victims with two victims being shot. The trial court imposed consecutive minimum mandatory sentences in accord with the 10-20-Life Statute and the district court reversed finding only concurrent sentences were allowed.
