In response to new legislation, the Court in November 2005 adopted rules of procedure governing what happens when the state asks a judge to approve psychotropic drugs for children in foster care. The Court also invited public comment on the new rules. Children's advocacy groups have filed comments arguing that various amendments to the rules should be made.
