Mr. Anderson was convicted of the first-degree murder of Heather Young, who was fatally shot during a bank robbery in 1999. The jury voted unanimously to recommend a death sentence and Mr. Anderson was condemned. This Court upheld the death sentence on direct appeal and Mr. Anderson filed a post-conviction challenge in trial court. The trial court upheld his murder conviction and death sentence and this appeal followed. He also filed a petition for writ of habeas corpus raising various issues.
