Ms. Achenbauch and other flight attendants sued the Flight Attendant Medical Research Institute, alleging problems with how the research institute was managed and its funds spent. Ms. Young, who sits on the institute's board of trustees, was a flight attendant in the original lawsuit against the tobacco industry that led to the creation of the institute. She argued the attorneys representing the critics should be disqualified because of a conflict of interest. The trial court agreed but the Third District Court of Appeal reversed the trial court and reinstated the attorneys. Ms. Young seeks review by this Court. Dade County
