This case concerns proposed changes to the Florida Rules of Appellate Procedure, as submitted to the Court in a report from The Florida Bars Appellate Court Rules Committee. In part, the proposed amendments would provide civil or criminal defendants with a right to bring an interlocutory appeal from an order denying a claim of Stand Your Ground immunity.
