Mr. Bolin was convicted of the first-degree murder of Stephanie Collins, who was kidnapped and fatally beaten and stabbed in 1986. He was sentenced to death. This Court granted him a new trial. He was again convicted and sentenced to death and again won a new trial. After his third trial, he was again convicted and sentenced to death. This is his direct appeal.
