The Florida Board of Bar Examiners has asked this Court if undocumented immigrants are eligible for admission to The Florida Bar. The question arose because of an application from Jose Godinez-Samperio, who emigrated from Mexico at the age of 9 with his parents to live in the United States. Mr. Godinez-Samperio, an undocumented immigrant, graduated from an accredited law school and passed Florida's bar exam.
