Mogil was removed from office as a New York judge and later disbarred by the New York Bar for alleged misconduct. The Florida Bar brought charges to also disbar him in Florida based on the New York action against him. Mogil contends that the New York disbarment alone was insufficient reason to also disbar him in Florida.
