Summary:
Amerace manufactures devices called terminators that connect overhead power lines to underground lines. Stallings was injured when a terminator caused an arc allegedly due to its defective design. He sued, and the jury ruled in his favor, but the trial judge refused to award prejudgment interest. Both sides appealed, and the Second District affirmed the judgment but reversed on the prejudgment interest issue.
