Join Terrie Corbett on Thursday, April 21 at 1pm to discuss her unique use of the ancient medium of encaustic painting. Encaustic painting combines pigment with hot wax, allowing for luminous layers of color, producing vibrant creations that can last for thousands of years. Through an interactive conversation, we will explore the inspiration behind Terrie’s abstract compositions. Her exhibition of encaustic painting, Beyond the Familiar, is on view through June 4 in the Munroe Family Community Gallery.
