We are gearing up for another amazing summer of crafts, games, and interactive fun at Camp Dawson and Camp LPH hosted by the Thomasville History Center. For more than twenty years, campers have gotten “hands-on” with history on the grounds of the History Center.
Using the History Center’s backyard and eight historic structures as our “classroom,” campers in rising 1st through rising 6th grades will enjoy three stand-alone camp days June 7, 9, and 11 inspired by the fun and exploration of Camp Dawson with a new spin. Sign up for one day or all three- the choice is yours! Each day will have a maximum registration of 16 and campers will be divided by age: 1st -3rd graders and 4th-6th graders. Each group will experience parallel, age-appropriate activities across our property.
Camp will begin at 9am and end at 4pm. To arrange for early drop off (beginning at 8am) please contact the History Center directly. Single day registration is $60 and includes all snacks and activity materials.
