Summer Challenge<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Kickoff Event begins at 10am ET on WFSU Education’s Facebook Page and goes until 2pm ET. You can join us at the beginning, join us throughout the day, or hop on and off through out the afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your looking to get an idea of what kinds of fun interactive activities will be taking place. Check out these videos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Make a rainbow! You will need a paper towel, a circular lid, 2 glass bowls, pen, markers, scissors, and a glass of water. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Barbara A. Clark, the Northwest and North Central Florida Region Director with the Florida Public Archaeology Network, talks about how archaeology works. Archaeologists dig up items that have been left behind, just like the trash we throw away everyday. Using this activity you can safely exploring your own garbage you can learn a lot about your family and things that they maybe doing.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The Summer Challenge goes all summer long. We’ll even have free supplies to help kick of the summer adventures. You can pick them up at the station Tuesday June 9th or Saturday, June 13th from 10am to 11:30am. You can also download them online. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
