Ms. Dietrich had been ruminating about her current stage of retirement.&nbsp; She decided she wanted to find a way to explore the life experiences of older women, to see where she was headed.&nbsp; Now, when Eleanor decides she wants to do something, it usually gets done.&nbsp; She\u2019s the person who convinced the Florida Department of Transportation to quit cutting down wildflowers on so many of the state\u2019s roadsides\u2026and now we have a blossoming state wildflower program.&nbsp; The next time you\u2019re driving along and see bright yellow Coreopsis wildflowers blanketing the roadside, think of <a href=\"https:\/\/flawildflowers.org\/panhandle-liaison\/\">Eleanor Dietrich<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lindahallart.com\/\">Linda Hall<\/a> is a working artist and sculptor who has found recognition for her work with papier-m\u00e2ch\u00e9 and fabrics.&nbsp; When asked about the seed of their collaboration, Halls says, \u201c\u2026at one point I remember her (Eleanor) saying that she wanted to spend time with women who were about eighty, to maybe inform her about how to understand the upcoming phase of her life.&nbsp; Then the concept was expanded to write the stories of the women exhibited.
