The show runs through the 18th.<\/p>\n<p>The theater&#8217;s executive director, Olga Connolly, says the production kicked off on a high note opening night.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We felt really good about the product, giving something to our audience that was high energy, high enthusiasm, and would send them out into the world with a little less care on their shoulders,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p>Connolly says they chose this play partly because it&#8217;s funny.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s one of those plays that has some adult language in it. It does have some adult situations,&#8221; she says. &#8220;But it is so farcical and ridiculous, you understand that you&#8217;re supposed to laugh and have a good time.&#8221; \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Quincy Music Theatre puts on six to seven shows a year. Connolly says many of its performers are students from local schools, including Florida State and Florida A&amp;M Universities.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I think there&#8217;s so much talent here that is undiscovered, and we would love for the general public to discover it,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Dirty Rotten Scoundrels&#8221; is the last show of the season, before the theater shifts to its summer classes.<\/p>\n<p>Connolly says next season, their 41st as a musical theater, will start with a bang when they put on &#8220;Chicago&#8221;
