How many antiques and historical artifacts can one person accumulate in a lifetime? For one local collector that number has run into the many thousands. And he’s selling it this weekend in the tiny town of Lloyd–east of Tallahassee.<\/p>\n

The collector’s name is Doug Williams. He’s friends with Gregg Pia who owns an estate sale business with his wife Jackie. Pia says William’s stockpile of treasures is the largest such collection he’s seen since getting into the business.<\/p>\n

“It’s from teeny, tiny trinkets to medium-sized pieces of art and African sculptures to huge, monster signs.”<\/p>\n

The collection is so large, the sale is taking place in a 10,000 square foot building that’s now packed nearly floor to ceiling.<\/p>\n

“This is just on the Leon County\/Jefferson County border. You get right near Lloyd. So you get off the Interstate and follow the estate sale signs. It’s 1848 Jefferson Road.”<\/p>\n

The sale is daily 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. through Sunday.<\/p>\n
