Tallahassee’s Young Actors Theater opens one of its most ambitious productions the evening of Friday, July 17. The school edition of Les Miserables runs through August 2nd and has some real professional guidance.
Jillian Gray was on the Broadway National Tour of the play. She’s directing a total of 85 Young Actors performers.
“It almost didn’t feel like I was working with young performers,” Gray says. “That’s how special this place is and how well taught they are here.”
Gray is also an old college buddy of Young Actors CEO Sarah Doolin Roy.
“To watch our students soak up every nugget of wisdom and direction coming straight from the Broadway National Tour and Jillian’s experiences has been extraordinary and been so much fun!”
Another Broadway veteran, Lindsay Wood Hose, is directing the choreography.
