Tallahassee’s Kleman Plaza was the scene of a Filipino-American cultural celebration on Saturday.
Clyde Diao, long a pillar of the Big Bend Filipino-American Association, founded the event.
“We’re very proud of what we’re doing and I’m glad that it’s still going strong after all these years; it’s been eight years now,” he said.
Saturday’s happening was a run-up to Tallahassee’s 15th annual Experience Asia Festival. It takes place in the downtown chain of parks on October 5th.
