Florida A&M’s head football coach Willie Simmons is bringing in two new additions to his coaching staff. Simmons announced the addition of former pro-football player Pat Watkins, and former Division-I football coach Doc Gamble, at Wednesday’s 220 Quarterback Club luncheon.
Simmons has tasked Watkins with coaching the team’s defensive backs, while Gamble will coordinate the special teams unit.
The move comes just weeks before the Rattlers season opener against Jackson State University. That game will be held on September 3rd in Miami.
