Former Tallahassee lawmaker Loranne Ausley is recovering from injuries sustained over the weekend during a triathlon.
Her husband, attorney Bill Hollimon, posted on social media that she had a bike accident during the event in North Florida.
He says she had neck surgery and is in stable condition.
Ausley is also an attorney. She served as a Democratic state representative, then a state senator.
