FSU’s Beata Olsson signs pro deal with Swedish team

    Florida State University soccer star Beata Olsson is originally from Enkoping, Sweden, however she spent the last three years in Tallahassee helping the Noles win back-to-back ACC conference titles and two national championships.

    It was announced over the weekend that the Noles’ three-time All-ACC performer will be joining one of Sweden’s premier pro-football clubs, AIK, this upcoming season. The team shared the new partnership on its social media page Saturday.

    The latest signing comes after Olsson scored one goal and two assists in last year’s national title game against Stanford.

    Olsson’s performance helped earn Florida State’s fourth national title and first undefeated season in school history.
