Tallahassee’s 5th Annual Micro Theater Festival happens this weekend at Goodwood Museum and Gardens. The event will include a rotation of several live stage performances, music and food. The festival founder is Alejandra Guiterrez. She noted the plays, including a newly-created one, will be performed on a number of stages set up inside the Goodwood Carriage House.

“You just go moving around the space and watch the 5 different plays.”

Former Tallahasseean Kevin Carr, who’s remained on the Hispanic Theater board, is back to help with the whole production.

“We’re going to have great live music, great plays in English. You don’t need to know Spanish to come. It’s really open to everyone in celebration of Spanish culture for everyone.”

The performances get underway this Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30.
