Two musical legends played Tallahassee on Saturday night. Willie Nelson played to a sell-out crowd at the Adderley Amphitheater and Emmylou Harris packed them in at Ruby Diamond Auditorium.
The amphitheater where Nelson performed is newly named for Tallahassee’s own Adderley brothers, while Harris starred in the 25th season of Florida State University’s Opening Nights.
Harris performed an encore of her signature “Boulder to Birmingham.”
“I would rock my soul in the bosom of Abraham. I would hold my life in his saving grace. I would walk all the way from Boulder to Birmingham if I thought I could see, I could see your face…”
Both shows were sold out.
