Tallahassee is hosting a youth bowling championship. The games will go on each weekend through the end of April.

Tallahassee’s Capital Lanes was packed with young bowlers, coaches, officials and spectators from every corner of the state.

“(It) brings kids from all over Florida. This year, 2.600 and almost 50 kids.”

Long-time Tournament Director Allen Solomon said this is one of the largest events of its kind in the country.

“We have grown the Florida Pepsi Tournament into the third largest in America. The only 2 that are bigger are Illinois and Michigan.”
