Take a look at the Leon County Humane Society’s Rescue Ride effort. The idea is to get dogs out of high-kill shelters, some with kill rates as high as 98 percent before their time is up. In this video, we join Amy Raddar on a rescue ride to Tampa Bay, where a van load of lucky pooches will get a new lease on life.
