In the springtime, the Saint Marks National Wildlife Refuge lives up to its status as a gateway site on the Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail. Migratory birds fill the marshes, pools, and ponds (and hummingbird feeders). It's warmer, so alligators are out in full force. It's a spectacular time for photography. Learn more about what the Refuge has to offer and watch critters of the scaly, furry, and feathered variety swim, fly, and crawl in an unspoiled setting. We were joined by Florida Fish and Wildlife's Andy Wraithmell, and local photographers (and active Refuge Association members) Lou and Betsy Kellenberger.
