The St. Francis Wildlife Association is celebrating 35 years with a special benefit event called “Born to Be Wild” on Saturday, October 19, 2013. In the interview, Sandy Beck introduces us to Bubo, a Great Horned Owl. He was injured many years ago and couldn’t return to the wild. Bubo now helps educate people about birds of prey. The upcoming event is to raise money for St. Francis to help injured, orphaned or sick wildlife. For more information go to www.stfranciswildlife.org.
