What inspires you from WFSU Public Media? Here's this week's Voices That Inspire. My name is Edigan Zalas-Lemoyay, I'm the CEO at Ruvos. Ruvos is a data company. We move data in the healthcare area and sector. We move data in the financial sector as well as other industries. We're a data company with experts in cloud computing and cyber security. And we've got folks across Florida, across the US, and even some folks in South Africa. My parents came from Cuba in 1960 or on that time. Really with nothing. And my grandparents and my parents worked their tails off to provide opportunities for myself and my five sisters. So I'm always grateful for that. And I will never forget that. So now it's my turn to try to give back. Whether it's through Ruvos and our technology, for example, in healthcare, or whether it's helping through the early learning coalition and other organizations. Now's my time to help the underserved, to help folks that may think they're different. So if there's any opportunity that I see that I can help, I definitely will. But the biggest impact I think has been through our company. By hiring really, really talented people, providing great opportunities for innovation. And ultimately saving lives in some case in our business. So helping others. If you want to make an impact, not only in a growing company, but if you want to make an impact in a community from day one, this is a place to be. You will see the impact and the community will be extremely welcoming. I gave it a chance ten years in June, and I'm not going anywhere. I want to make sure that I do everything in my power that the tech hub, the technology, the opportunities are there for everyone. They should have the same opportunities to touch those computers, to touch those robots, to apply for those jobs. And we're going to do everything we can in our power to make sure that this is a tech hub in the region. My name is Eddie Gonzalez-Lumier. I'm the CEO at Ruvos. You're listening to voices that inspire. For more information, visit wfsu.org.
