PBS Regional Teacher Summit Florida
PBS and WFSU invite PreK-5 educators to join us for an evening devoted to learning and sharing stragies to support playful learning through meaningful tech and media integration. Participants should bring their own device for hand-on opportunities to learn story creation activities, explore tech tools, share ideas and make lasting connections.

Summit Goal
PBS has partnered with WFSU to offer in-person teacher professional development that provides PBS LearningMedia training, professional development and peer learning opportunities. The trainings will be led by a PBS lead trainer and offered to up to 100 Florida teachers.


Florida PBS LearningMedia Teacher Summit on Playful Learning
(Especially for PreK through 5th Grade Educators)

During our workshop, participants will be led through PBS LearningMedia 101 hands-on training to become familiar with the features of the site and the content that comprises the service. Participants will have a hands-on opportunity to search for and filter content, curate favorite resources, and create customized lessons, Storyboards, puzzles and assignments using the PBS LearningMedia productivity tools.

The second half of the session will begin after a delicious dinner and will focus on learning and sharing strategies to support playful learning through meaningful tech and media integration.
