WFSU Public Media’s Education & Outreach team stays busy year-round not only with in-school visits and professional development trainings and workshops, but also coordinating and hosting major events. Whether it be Summer Challenge Kick-Off Celebrations, seasonal PBS KIDS Priority screenings, or bringing families and celebrities from the world of PBS together under the same roof, connecting friends from all over our viewing area is a key part of our work. Contributing hours of time and energy to providing a few meaningful and educational weekends a year to local families is one of the most exciting parts of what we do, and we’re always on the lookout for new ways to do it!
