World of Possibilities Kids’ Career Day at WFSU
As a Ready To Learn media station, one of our top priorities is providing children with early exposure to self and career exploration, preparing them for the world of work.
Join us as we meet and learn from those who serve our very own community through a variety of jobs. Meet local chefs, artists, bus drivers, librarians, animal care workers, and more. Help your little ones explore the world of work, teaching them about the interesting things people do in our community every day.
Children can fill up their World of Possibilities Passport by participating in hands-on learning activities. Participants will receive free take-home resources, visit with animals, and have the chance to touch and see some cool work vehicles, too!
Visit us at WFSU’s studios for this event. We are located at 1600 Red Barber Plaza in Tallahassee near the FSU Golf Course and across from Morcom Aquatics Center. Families will not be required to stay the entire duration to enjoy the activities. Activities are designed for children between 4 and 8 years of age.
This event is free with registration. Please register by “reserving a spot” for each member of your group through Eventbrite General Admission.
