Tallahassee, FL: Let’s Learn, The WNET Group’s daily instructional learning series for children ages 4 to 7, launches new episodes on letslearn.org and beginning November 3rd at 9 AM on WFSU KIDS 360. The new season of 15 episodes includes Wordsville, a live-action detective series starring kids, produced by Sinking Ship Entertainment (Odd Squad, Jane, Lockdown).

Let’s Learn serves as a supplemental resource to support children’s learning at home and in the classroom. A dynamic and diverse group of educators engage kids ages 4-7 in multidisciplinary lessons. The one-hour shows have thematically linked segments focusing on topics including where we live, transformation, the five senses, water, plants and transportation. Literacy lessons are based on the science of reading, and storybook read-aloud segments feature diverse characters. The program also explores math, science, social studies, the arts and social-emotional learning.

Let’s Learn includes content from Brooklyn Preschool of Science, Dancing Classrooms, Divinity Roxx, the Feel Your Best Self program at the University of Connecticut, Figure Skating in Harlem, Grammy-nominated artist Fyütch, Houston Zoo, New Victory, New York City Public Schools, New-York Historical Society, Studio in a School, and WUCF’s Meet the Helpers.

Wordsville follows 9-year-old best friends and word detectives Gabby and Sly as they solve word mysteries in a town entirely populated by kids, including Baker Graham, Reporter Read, Singer Melody, Artist Clay, Athlete Glory and Scientist Cosmo. Each humorous seven-minute episode builds vocabulary knowledge. Synonyms and antonyms help kids understand new words and their meanings.

Let’s Learn continues to serve a critical need supporting young learners,” said Sandra Sheppard, director and executive producer of kids’ media and education for

The WNET Group. “These latest episodes add to our vast collection of content, providing caregivers and educators with a trusted media resource to help their children learn. This season we are particularly excited to introduce Wordsville, an engaging series that explores vocabulary with both fun and nuance.”

Let’s Learn’s library of more 265 full episodes and 850 segments are available to stream on demand on letslearn.org. To enhance the learning opportunities, the website offers playlists; search tools to find segments by subjects, topics and curriculum themes; and printable activity sheets.
