What inspires you from WFSU Public Media? Here's this week's Voices That Inspire. I'm Adrian Crawford and I help people write new rules. I think that life is always a game that you're playing. But very few people ever question the rules of the game that they're playing. I think many times in culture we've been given a certain way that you should do with this education to people's ideas of race, people's thoughts of religion, Christianity, things like that. And my thing is to actually ask people, do you ever question the rules first of all the game you're playing, but then the rules that you're playing? Because many times I've learned in life people are playing a game they were never suited for. So the idea of new rules that we're starting is on human purpose development. So we do it through projects, through 90 day classes, and then I do it through individual consultants. So I work with like executives and entrepreneurs, pro athletes, helping them figure out what they were created to do. And it's amazing even when people were wildly successful, they're still asking that question, what was I putting on this planet for them? So I just try to help them figure it out. I started a church about five years ago that just went from 18 people to just the space of East-Ears. We were recording this. We had close to a thousand people. Right now I feel like I'm in a phase of life where I can see what I'm doing for the next 20 years. I hope during that time that I would be able to really have a voice. And I just meet, but a really a lot of people who actually are modeling, reconcile cultures. We have an opportunity to build communities and places and spaces that truly are really reconciled. I hope to be able to create a lot of those communities, inspire people to do that. Raise three children and continue to love my wife and watch her do what she does. And yeah, if I've done that in 20 years or 10 years right now, I'll be pretty happy. My name is Adrian Crawford and I help people write new rules. Voices that inspire is sponsored by Leadership Tallahassee, a program of the Tallahassee Chamber celebrating 35 years of cultivating community leadership.
