What inspires you from WFSU Public Media? Here's this week's Voices That Inspire. My name is Elle Michelle Salvant, and I am CEO of Elle Michelle Media, and also a ministry leader with higher dimension church talent essay. The type of work that I'm doing in media, it's really rooted in empowerment. It's using the tool to reach people who need what you have, who need your solution to their problem. I am also using media to empower our young people. I am a digital life coach with the Teen Success Academy, so I work with middle schoolers in Gastin County and show them ways to express the positive things about themselves through media. I was very inspired by Oprah Winfrey, and her show when it first came out. I was in my pre-teens or just a turn 13, and just really was inspired by a woman who looked like me interviewing people and telling stories. In my teens, at the very age of the young people who I work with now, is when I began to define what I really wanted to do what I was passionate about. I am very much inspired by the future generations. And one thing I always say is the future is bright. I'm referring to the young people that I get to work with on a weekly basis, the bright nature of them, the bright minds, the bright imagination, truly our future is bright. I am El Michelle Salvant, CEO of El Michelle Media, Ministry Leader at Higher Dimension Church, Tallahassee, and a digital life coach for teenagers in Gastin County. You're listening to voices that inspire.
