What inspires you from WFSU Public Media? Here's this week's Voices That Inspire. I'm Warren Cave, I am the founder of the Clean Start initiative, Bless My Ride, Mobile Detailer. I am a changed life that has become a life changer. In my past, I was a very dysfunctional minister society type guy. And now I am a minister, I'm a father, I'm a businessman, I'm a community leader. And now I try to assist people with having a better way of living. So I'm a life changer. When I heard Amendment 4 passed, it was gratifying for me. But just realizing that right now, this year, it's 35 years since I voted. I pay taxes, I'm a productive member of society. I do a lot with poor people, the shelter, preaching and prisons. Helping folks get their life in order, but I can't vote. I have a 13 year old son. And forgive me because I get kind of emotional sometimes. But I train him, I pray over him, and I'm still in him about being a positive member of society. And it blesses me that when I told him that it passed, and so his words were because of our conversations. So I guess I'm going to be riding with you and not more with this type of vote. And I said yes. And I'm choked up a little bit because I know that being so negative in society nearly destroyed me, and killed me, and the best I can do is leave a legacy that my kids see, that hopefully that they can take it and run with it, and be just as positive as I ever was.
