What inspires you from WFSU Public Media? Here's this week's Voices That Inspire. My name is Brian Sealy and I am a real estate broker by Trey and I own a Sealy team, a real estate company. I got my real estate license while in college. I was slowly starting to build up my business clientele. The more I got to learn about Tallahassee and the people, I really realized that it was a place to raise a family. Family was very important to me and my nucleus, my mom, that, and my sister, we did a lot of things together. I knew, okay, this is a great spot for it. What inspires me is the reality of mortality. Time is a gift to all of us. I don't take time for granted. I don't take time for granted at all. Any young person out there, I would say, overcome fear. We are afraid of failure, afraid of what someone might think, afraid of making mistakes. It's an illusion. Everybody that's successful, that's earned their success, has made a lot of mistakes. Don't let that hinder you. As one of the former CEO of a company I work with said, spirits having a human experience, right? We're all confused. None of us have all the right answers. The moment that you sit back and say, you know what? I'm not better than you, you're not better than me. Let me try to learn from my mistakes. Let me try to grow and evolve as a person, as a human while I'm here. Life at that point becomes fun. It becomes curious. You're willing to take a little bit more risks. Don't get caught up in trying to be something. Just try to do the best you can. And once you get to know yourself, the rest is fun. The memories that I have with my kids. That's what I'm most proud about. At the end of the day, that's what gives me the most enjoyment. My name is Brian Sealey, and I'm a real estate broker. And I own a Sealey team or real estate company. You're listening to voices that inspire. For more information, visit wfsu.org.
