What inspires you from WFSU public media? Here's this week's voices that inspire. I'm Gina Kinchlow and I'm the interim president for the Big Bend Minority Chamber of Commerce. The Big Bend Minority Chamber of Commerce focuses on three very specific demographic groups that could really use some help and some assistance in in growing their businesses and developing their entrepreneurial ideas. We are attempting to give that minority business owner, that woman business owner, that youth entrepreneur, the foundation that they need so that they can move confidently with those ideas and those businesses tap into an ecosystem that includes our chamber and the support that we can give them. The most rewarding for me is when I am able to either light the fire, particularly with young people who have great ideas and don't really understand the process and the pathways to grow that idea. But equally, when I can see that our chamber has done something that resulted in a new contract for one of our members, connected our members to an opportunity to sell their products, that is extremely gratifying to know that somehow or other, we were able to clear the pathway, if you will, so that that business owner has this new opportunity. I'm Gina Kinchlow and I'm the interim president for the Big Bend Minority Chamber of Commerce. You're listening to Voices That Inspire.
