Rick Clevenger - The Two-Thousand Yard Stare
Rick Clevenger arrived in Vietnam as a two-year draftee in the middle of the Tet Offensive. As a young man, Rick had a “guns and grenades” WWII vision of war; what he found was a “less idealistic” experience. He shares his memories of arriving in Vietnam and facing the fear of what he was about to experience.
