What inspires you from WFSU Public Media? Here's this week's Voices That Inspire. Hello everyone. I am Thalia Albert. I go to Lincoln High School and I am a senior. It feels really good to be a senior in high school after all the years I've taken, you know, of studying and taking my time at school. So I feel really good to be a senior. I think I want to do construction management when I graduate because there's a lot of things that you can probably discover in construction management. I like being in the bus, you know, I like being in charge. So yeah. What I'm really hopeful for is not even getting a job, just being able to let everyone know like, hey, even though you had challenges during your life, don't let it stop you. Don't let it ever stop your grind and everything like that. And at the end, there's always something, there's always a reward. So that's what's definitely keeping me pushing after being in high school. I am one of those people that I start, I have to finish it. I'm very determined. And in life, you have to be very determined to get something finished or to do something. So stick to your ideas and your thoughts. Some of the few people that have inspired me to be in construction management is Curran Jones Wilson and Kenzie Wilson. But I also before choosing my major, I also wanted to be an industrial engineer. And my godmother is a civil engineer and her name is Lauren Carter. Being around those women really opened my eyes to being in construction management. Women are very powerful. They are definitely role models other than my mom, which of course your mom should be your role model. But they are very big role models in my life. I am Thalia Albert and I want to be in construction management. You're listening to voices that inspire.
