What inspires you from WFSU Public Media? Here's this week's Voices That Inspire. Hi, I'm Tiffany Hamilton, broker owner of Hamilton Realty Advisors. I think why I love real estate so much is I love helping people. We're helping in the lady right now. She's 23 years old. She's renting a townhouse currently, and the landlord was wanna put it up for sale. And I said, well, why not buy this house and pay $300 less than what you're paying in rent for the place you're currently living in? And now that's something that's gonna allow her to start the stage of building wealth for herself and for her family. I do have a passion for that, especially single women, because I was raised by a single mother, and she bought her house pretty young. I see the benefits of that, and I wanna make sure everybody has an opportunity to do that if they want. So the Woman to Woman Award was an honor, a stole by the girls on the run. You were nominated, and you had to give voted on, and then you became a nominee. And then once you were nominated, one of the components was you had to give votes, and each vote was a dollar. So I got the most votes of people who thought my profile was a good profile. But part of it was a challenge to help raise funds for girls on the run. And since I have a passion for women and girls, I'm a part of the OASA Center for Women and Girls as well. And anything that has to do with girls and women, I usually am a supporter of. From what I understand, we were able to raise a total of about $30,000 to help the organization, which has such a powerful voice in this community, because it allows young girls to help them grow their self-esteem. To me, women are the future of this nation. I know I'm being biased on that, but that's how I feel about it. And for you to have an organization that helps these young girls really feel empowered, empowered to speak up, empowered to support each other, I'm always in support of that.
